The Jeff Teal Trio would like to announce the addition of two more musicians.They are:Boff Radhammer,keyboards and also vocals(or so he says) and Beef Rackstoninoff,Lead lead vocals(no that's no typo).Instead of becoming a quintet,the TRIO has settled on being known as a Seminonet ,i.e. The Jeff Teal Seminonet.Since a nonet has 9 members and the prefix "semi" cuts the nonet in half.The resulting number is 4.5.The need to be mathematically correct is due to the fact that both new members are being docked .25 of a share while serving out their probationary period.Some concerns also surround Boff while the TRIO debates whether the "keyboard" is a real musical instrument.Plus Beef's attitude at times has lead to concerns about the dreaded DIVA or is it DIVAR since he's male,COMPLEX. The band is currently pureeing (I'm looking at my blender right now)in a a host of favored musical influences to leave a recipe consisting of mainly FUNK ( and related groove based genres) ROCK and the somewhat "off" flavor of AMBIENT or as some may call it, NEWAGE.This is for the impending CD.Currently the number of potential songs has been lowerd to around 25 with the final concoction to have 12-16 tunes.The band members confess that the main direction of the music daily bounces between the 3 styles leading some members to want to have the CD all one style,some want an equal split of the 3 styles.However,as one wise member recently expounded,"Does it really matter right now,we don't even have anything recorded yet?"Bravo!
